Voice AI CQC supervision
Annual supervision is the moment a coordinator stops and asks: is this carer still safe, supported, and growing? CareAiro now runs that conversation with you. Carers answer 31 default CQC-aligned questions (12 General + 19 keyed to the five CQC key questions) by speaking into the mobile app; Claude handles the follow-up probes in real time.
When the session completes the AI returns a structured summary, strengths, areas for development, and concrete action points. A manager reviews, optionally edits the AI-scored answers, signs on a touch canvas, and exports an A4 "Record of Staff Supervision" PDF ready for the carer's personnel file or a CQC inspector's reading list.
What's included
- Three default templates — General Supervision (12 questions), CQC Supervision (19 questions), and the full 31-question version for high-stakes annual review.
- Per-question follow-up probes generated live by Claude. Conversation state held in Redis for 90 minutes so a carer can pause and resume mid-supervision.
- Bulk scoring + manager-review workflow. Original AI scores are snapshotted before any human edit, so the audit trail shows both the raw AI verdict and the manager's adjustment.
- Supervision Matrix view at
/staff/supervision-matrix— every staff member × 4 RAG-coloured slots (3 supervisions + 1 appraisal per year, anchored on start date). Email + in-app alerts 30 days before each slot is due. - Editable session history. Managers can open a completed session, adjust answers, and re-export the PDF without losing the original audit record.
